Getting Personal

A Little Pain
Devoted myself
Thought I looked good
But the one thing
I can't get rid of
Is the pain now.
It's there in my eyes
So much pain
Feel hypnotized.
Cover with a mask
Can't taste the fear
I always keep an eye
For how to get out of here.
It's the hurt now
Buried deep down inside
So much torture I
Just want to hide.
Walking faster than I run
But taking my time
Sins against the universe
Punish my crime
With the agony now
Beat me up til I cry
So much pain I
Just wish I would die.

Life Is Heady Stuff
At young ages there's
	head start
falling on your head, and the
	head of the class.
As we mature our thoughts are invaded by
	maiden heads, and
	heads of cocks.
Most of us grow past that point
when we next learn to deal with
	wise heads,
	talking heads,
	heads of state,
	and the ever-present
	dick heads.
It's all about getting a-head
And so as a species, and as individuals,
where are we headed?
	Hopefully
wiser heads will prevail over the
dick heads.

Painful For You
Birth, painful for the mom
And they say for the baby, too.
Adolescence, painful to the teen
And they say for the mom, too.
Adulthood, painful for the masses
Although not so bad for you.
Death, painful to the body
And they say to the loved ones, too.

Calendar Goth
January's child is cold at heart.
February's child tries to tear you apart.
March's child throws caution to the wind.
April's child picks the wound again and again.
May's child wears very few clothes,
June's child devours everything as it grows.
July's child seeks refuge from the storm,
August's child likes watching disasters form.
Septembers child pulls flower heads off the stem.
October's child puts on masks to hide from them.
November's child is entranced by flame, and
December's child never takes the blame.
