"Musicians and Authors of Gothic and Horror stories etc."

"What you've always felt, mixed up with the influence of the older ones who came before you. Goth is an entity in itself always changing and always the same."

"Brandon Lee, James O' Barr, The rock band The Cure, Marilyn Manson, Trent Reznor, David Lynch, White Wolf games, The Rocky Horror Picture Show(Say Hello, Riff!), Clive Barker, People Like you, and People like me."

"Very much music and role-playing games (like Vampire: the Masquerade)."

"Mainly the people within the goth community though this has spread due to the internet."

"Still Ann Rice, music, and all the same things like victorian shit, elizabeth bathory, dracula, blah blah and forever. Peter Murphy and Siouxsie (is it true she's on Prozac now?)."

"I guess it depends on how far back historically you want to go, but in this century, I think the biggest influence was the London 'bat cave' scene in the late 70s. I'd have to say four bands have at least helped to shape the goth scene: Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Cure, Bauhaus, and the Sisters of Mercy."
